How do I record my first video with script overlay?
Simply open CueCam, create or import your script, position the text where you want it on screen, and tap the record button. Your script will appear as a semi-transparent overlay while recording with the front camera.
How does the auto-scroll feature work?
Auto-scroll automatically moves your script text at a customizable speed (0.5x to 3.0x) while you're recording. You can enable it in settings and adjust the speed to match your speaking pace. The text scrolls smoothly to help you maintain natural delivery.
Can I customize the text appearance and position?
Yes! CueCam offers extensive customization:
- Text size: Adjustable from 12pt to 24pt
- Position: Top, middle, or bottom of screen
- Transparency: Semi-transparent overlay that doesn't block your face
- Theme: Dark or light theme options
How do I manage my subscription?
For iOS: Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > CueCam
For Android: Open Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > CueCam
You can also use the "Restore Purchases" option in the app if you've switched devices.
Where are my recorded videos saved?
All videos recorded with CueCam are automatically saved to your device's camera roll/gallery. You can then share, edit, or upload them to any platform. CueCam doesn't store videos on external servers - they remain private on your device.
How do I create and manage multiple scripts?
CueCam includes a built-in script library where you can:
- Create new scripts by tapping "New Script"
- Save multiple scripts for different projects
- Edit existing scripts anytime
- Organize scripts by name or topic
- Import text from other apps
Why can't I see my script while recording?
If your script isn't visible during recording, check these settings:
- Ensure you've selected a script before starting recording
- Check that text size isn't set too small
- Verify the script position (top/middle/bottom) matches your preference
- Make sure the script contains text content
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime through your device settings:
- iOS: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > CueCam > Cancel
- Android: Google Play Store > Menu > Subscriptions > CueCam > Cancel
You'll continue to have access until the end of your current billing period.
Can I use CueCam for live streaming or video calls?
CueCam is designed for recording videos with script overlay. It doesn't currently support live streaming or integration with video call apps. The recorded videos can be used for any purpose after recording is complete.
Technical Support
The app is crashing or not loading
- Force close and restart the app
- Restart your device
- Check for app updates in your app store
- Ensure you have sufficient storage space
- Check camera and microphone permissions in device settings

Video recording quality issues
- Ensure good lighting for best front camera results
- Clean your camera lens
- Check available storage space on your device
- Close other apps that might be using camera resources
- Restart the app and try recording again
Script text is too small or hard to read
- Go to Settings and increase text size (up to 24pt)
- Adjust script position to avoid camera glare
- Try switching between dark and light themes
- Ensure script content doesn't have excessive line breaks
Auto-scroll is too fast or too slow
- Go to Settings > Auto-scroll Speed
- Adjust the slider from 0.5x (slower) to 3.0x (faster)
- Test different speeds with practice recordings
- You can also manually scroll during recording if needed
Account & Subscription Support
I was charged but don't have premium features
Try these steps:
- Tap "Restore Purchases" in the app settings
- Sign in with the same Apple ID or Google account used for purchase
- Restart the app after restoring
- Check that you're using the same device where the purchase was made
If this doesn't work, contact us with your purchase receipt.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple or Google:
- iOS: Visit Apple's "Report a Problem" website
- Android: Contact Google Play Store customer service
Include your order number and reason for the refund request.
