CueCam - Terms of Use

Important: By downloading, installing, or using the CueCam mobile application, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. App Overview

CueCam is a mobile application designed to help users record professional videos with floating script overlay functionality. The app offers both free and premium subscription features for video recording with script teleprompter capabilities, auto-scroll technology, and customizable text display options.

2. Subscription Services

2.1 Available Subscriptions

CueCam Premium offers the following auto-renewable subscription options:

Weekly Subscription: $0.99 per week
Yearly Subscription: $19.99 per year (Most Popular - Save 60%!)

Note: Prices may vary by location and are subject to change. Current pricing is displayed in the app at the time of purchase.

2.2 Subscription Features

CueCam Premium includes:

Unlimited video recording with script overlay
Advanced auto-scroll technology with speed control
Multiple script management and library access
Customizable text size and positioning options
Professional recording quality settings
Export options without watermarks
Dark/light theme customization
Priority customer support
Advanced camera controls and settings

2.3 Auto-Renewal Terms

Important Subscription Information:

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
Weekly subscriptions renew every 7 days
Yearly subscriptions renew every 365 days
You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renewal in your device's Account Settings after purchase

3. Payment and Billing

3.1 Payment Processing

All subscription payments are processed through your device's app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Payment will be charged to your app store account upon confirmation of purchase.

3.2 Price Changes

We reserve the right to modify subscription prices at any time. Price changes will not affect existing subscriptions until renewal, and you will be notified of any price changes in advance.

4. Cancellation Policy

4.1 How to Cancel

For iOS users:

Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad
Tap your name at the top
Tap "Subscriptions"
Find CueCam and tap it
Tap "Cancel Subscription"

For Android users:

Open the Google Play Store app
Tap Menu → Subscriptions
Find CueCam and tap it
Tap "Cancel Subscription"

4.2 Cancellation Terms

You can cancel your subscription at any time
Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period
You will continue to have access to premium features until the end of the paid period
No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
You must cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid being charged for the next period

5. Refund Policy

All sales are final. Refund requests must be made directly through your device's app store:

iOS: Submit refund requests through Apple's Report a Problem website
Android: Request refunds through Google Play Store customer service

CueCam does not control app store refund policies and cannot guarantee refund approval.

6. Free Trial (If Applicable)

If a free trial is offered, you will be charged the full subscription price when the trial period ends unless you cancel before the trial expires. Free trials are limited to one per user.

7. User Responsibilities

Provide accurate account and payment information
Maintain the security of your account credentials
Use the app in accordance with these terms
Not share your premium account access with others
Not attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app
Use video recording features responsibly and ethically
Respect copyright and intellectual property rights in your scripts
Not record content that violates laws or platform policies
Obtain necessary permissions for recording in private or restricted areas

8. Video Recording and Content Disclaimer

Important Recording Notice: CueCam provides video recording technology with script overlay functionality. Users are responsible for ensuring all recorded content complies with applicable laws, respects privacy rights, and follows platform guidelines. Users must obtain proper permissions when recording in private spaces or featuring other individuals.

9. Script and Content Responsibility

Users retain full responsibility for all script content entered into the app
Users must ensure script content does not infringe on copyrights or other intellectual property
CueCam does not monitor or control user-generated script content
Users are responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of their scripts
Recorded videos and scripts are stored locally on user devices by default

10. Camera and Recording Permissions

CueCam requires camera and microphone access to provide video recording functionality:

Camera access is used exclusively for video recording within the app
Microphone access enables audio recording for complete video production
Users can revoke permissions at any time through device settings
No recordings are made without explicit user action

11. Intellectual Property

Users retain full ownership and rights to their recorded videos and script content. CueCam does not claim any rights to user-generated content. Users are responsible for ensuring their content does not infringe on third-party rights.

12. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information, including script content and app usage data.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to CueCam at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these terms or any other reason.

14. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be effective when posted in the app or on this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

15. Limitation of Liability

CueCam and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the app, including but not limited to issues with recorded content quality or script display functionality.

16. Technical Support

We provide technical support for app functionality, recording issues, and subscription management. Support does not include content creation advice or video production consultation.

17. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved in the appropriate courts.
